Before, you had to pick a specific Nanodegree program or course and pay for each separately. With the new model, you pay one fee for unlimited access to any content you want as long as you’re an active subscriber.

Just like that, before you enroll in a program on Udacity, it’s better to check how its prices compare to other online learning platforms.
That said, it’s not entirely fair to compare Udacity’s prices directly to other learning platforms with a different structure of rendering their service. Because they mainly offer individual courses on various topics.
Udacity, on the other hand, focuses on in-depth courses and Nanodegree programs with real-world projects that can lead to actual degrees and certifications.
It delves deep into fields like data science, cloud computing, software engineering, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and other tech careers in the tech industry taught by industry experts.
So, even though the pricing may seem different, it’s because Udacity provides a higher level of education and more significant career growth and opportunities.

But here’s the thing: these free courses are just a way for you to get a taste of what the platform is. Hence, they don’t provide a certificate upon course completion. But you sure can gain tech skills taught by industry professionals.
Udacity Free Courses
You can choose to take a course for free or subscribe to access Udacity’s nanodegrees, which are currently very popular. Free courses are shorter, taking between one week to a month to complete, and they don’t go in-depth as paid courses. (For obvious reasons)
However, they give you a real feel for the course, helping you decide whether to start your learning journey with Udacity as a subscriber.
Udacity Free Trial
The Udacity free trial gives you full access for seven days to all the programs, including the Udacity Nanodegrees, up to three hands-on projects to enhance your learning, and up to three project reviews from industry experts.
However, remember that during the trial, you won’t be able to obtain a certificate of completion, which is only available if you subscribe for a monthly fee. The refund period must conclude before receiving your certificate.
Get your hands on the videos, quizzes and learning material. Additional resources like the career services team and the career portal are not accessible during the free Udacity period.

In this section I will tell you the STEPS TO PURCHASE A COURSE of your choice. First you visit Udacity’s website and you will be directed to the landing page.
Then, go to the ‘Catalog’ section. Here, you will find all the courses offered by Udemy. You can then sort the courses by popularity, rating, or newest, or you can filter them by price, school, skill, difficulty level, or type.
Once you’ve decided on a specific course or Nanodegree program, click on it. You will then be directed to a page showing you all the details regarding that program, like the duration, difficulty level, etc.
If it fulfills all your requirements, click ‘Enroll Now.’ Then, you can choose from the payment plans Udacity offers, whether it’s a monthly payment plan or a one-time payment.
After paying from any of the options (I’ve spoken about it above under payment options), you can now start your Udacity learning journey!
Udacity Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation
It’s crucial to know that Udacity will automatically renew your subscription on a monthly basis unless you cancel it or they terminate it.
If you, by any chance, change your mind after purchasing a course on Udacity and want to cancel your subscription, this is how you do it.
You can stop the automatic renewal anytime by going to your account’s ‘Subscription And Billing’ setting, then clicking ‘Cancel’ and confirming.
To avoid being charged for the next month, make sure to cancel your subscription the day before your next billing cycle begins.
If you’re wondering, “Will I lose full access to my Udacity account right after my cancellation?” The answer is no. You’ll have full access to your Udacity account until the current period ends.
When you cancel, no PARTIAL REFUNDS will be provided for the remaining days of the month.
Refund Policy for Non EU Udacity Students
You can cancel your Udacity subscription and get a full refund within seven days of buying it.
To do this, go to your account’s ‘Subscription And Billing’ setting during the first seven days after subscribing.
Click ‘Cancel’ and confirm to request a refund. However, fees already paid cannot be refunded.
Refund Policy for EU Udacity Students
If you’re a European Union citizen, you can get a full refund within the initial fourteen days of buying a Udacity subscription, except if you’ve completed a Nanodegree Program, course, or Executive Program during this period.
This fourteen-day refund option is only open in the first month of your Udacity subscription.
Note: Udacity doesn’t provide refunds for any fees or charges associated with the services you purchase, like situations where you haven’t fully used what you paid for or if you’re not satisfied.
For subscription-based enrollments, if you cancel, you won’t be charged for future monthly fees, but you won’t get a refund for the fees you’ve already paid, whether it’s the most recent charge or any previous ones.
You’re only allowed one refund per student. If you cancel, get a refund, and then decide to enroll again, you won’t be eligible for another refund or refund period.
